Carowinds Meetup Update!

Okay, so far we’re looking at over 30 or so people but may change if I can get announced at Animazement. 

Most people seem to like the idea of it being on a weekday in early June but again that may change depending on who we get.

Once we get actually get a date and a rate, I’ll start posting stuff like ground rules (sorry but we have to have them, I promise that they’re really easy to follow!) and people who want to carpool, etc. 

Maybe I should make a separate tumblr for this?

i am pretty sure conner is setting it up so we can get a group rate (which is 15+ people) and this means tickets will be cheaper. ordering with her rather than on your own and showing up and startling the staff with more people can expected is not a good idea. so go talk to her about joining the group rate crew and buying a slightly discounted ticket.

okay! the theme is all patched up! i might fix it later, though.

dwayna: Hey everyone! Remember how I wouldn’t shut up about was talking about a Carowinds Homestuck meetup! We’ll we’re doing this. We are making this happen. It’ll be lots of fun and we hope we can see you there. We don’t have a date yet but there should be one very soon. It’s going to be in the summer (but not on the weekends of HeroesCon, Animazement, or Otakon, phew!), though.  I’ve added an event page for the Carowinds Meetup on Facebook (click the photo). I’m probably going to be ordering tickets for all of us but I need like a head count first. Even if you don’t know if you’ll be able to go just put yourself as maybe and I can get an estimate.  If you’re not on Facebook you can message me here. If you want to be added to the Carolinastuck group either mention it on the event page or message me here. After that, I should be able to get an estimate and you can pay me at the Hoshicon picnic, Animazement or any meetups inbetween. If you’re not able to make it to any of these, Paypal is fine, too. But you really can trust me with your money. I don’t fuck with money yo.  Later I’ll be posting some stuff to remember for the meetup but now I just want to see how many people we may have!
